SFI PJSC's IFRS Net Profit for the First Half of 2025 Amounted to RUB 5.9 bln
Investment holding SFI (SFI PJSC, MOEX: SFIN) publishes its consolidated financial results under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The holding's net profit for the reporting period amounted to RUB 5.9 billion, compared to RUB 15.2 billion for January–June of the previous year.
A significant contribution to the holding's financial result was provided by the share in the profit of Insurance House VSK — RUB 3.4 billion (49% of the insurance company's net profit in the first half of 2025 — RUB 7 billion). The growth in VSK's profit was primarily driven by investment income, while the company remains a market leader in its key insurance segments.
The holding's financial result also includes the net profit of the leasing company Europlan. In the first half of the year, the leasing company earned a net profit of RUB 1.9 billion. Detailed information on Europlan's results is available on the company's website.
Earnings per share (EPS) of SFI PJSC in the reporting period amounted to RUB 117.28, compared to RUB 260 a year earlier.
The holding's assets decreased by 12% (primarily due to the reduction of LK Europlan's leasing portfolio) and as of June 30, 2025, amounted to RUB 310.4 billion. Equity as of the reporting date was RUB 100 billion (of which the share attributable to shareholders was RUB 92.5 billion).
Oleg Andriyankin, Deputy General Director of SFI PJSC, commented on the results for the first half of 2025: "The first half of 2025 was a period of testing the resilience of Russian businesses across different sectors of the economy. Our subsidiaries, overall, managed to adapt to the new conditions and remained profitable, while the insurance business even improved its financial result compared to the previous year due to successful investment activities. This allows us to anticipate a swift recovery in the operational performance of our assets and ensures the possibility of dividend payments to the holding. We, in turn, also plan to adhere to our dividend guidance for 2025, as outlined in our shareholder value enhancement strategy, and are confident that this should have a positive impact on SFI's investment appeal."
The consolidated financial statements of SFI PJSC incorporate the performance of the Group's key assets — LK Europlan PJSC and VSK Insurance Company (the latter — in accordance with the participation share, the holding owns 49% of the company).
