RussNeft replenished the Ob-Irtysh fishery basin with bioresources

RussNeft replenished the Ob River basin with fish resources, releasing 397.5 thousand hatchlings of peled and 44.5 thousand hatchlings of nelma. This is not the Company's first time.

The whitebait are released into the reservoir under the control of specialists from the Tyumen branch of the Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography.

The volume of RussNeft investments in stocking Ob-Irtysh fishery basin in 2022 amounted to RUB 5,37 mln. Annual stocking in the regions of oil production allows the systematic restoration of aquatic bioresources affected by the development of Western Siberian fields. Activities on artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources were carried out by RussNeft within the framework of the Tagrinskoye and Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfields development projects.
